Limited Edition - Shetland Sheep Jumper
Returning from the De Paz archives is one of our most recognizable sweaters: the crewneck in 100% Scottish Shetland wool, featuring an all-over pattern of white sheep and a single, unmistakable black sheep.
Offered in Red and Royal Blue, the sweater is crafted from Shetland yarn selected and imported by De Paz, then knitted and assembled in Italy by specialized manufacturers.
The design is created using Real Intarsia, a technique that integrates the pattern directly into the structure of the knit. The result combines the authentic character of Shetland wool—warm, light, durable, and with its signature lively texture—with an ironic and instantly recognizable motif.
A motif that made British style history
The inspiration pays homage to the iconic black sheep jumper made famous by Lady Diana Spencer, who in 1981 wore a red sweater populated by white sheep and a single black one. Over the years, this image has become one of the most recognizable hallmarks of her style.
De Paz had already reinterpreted this motif many years ago: today, we have chosen to bring it back into the collection through a new production in limited quantities.
