The upper section is defined by a clean, well-constructed waistband with internal buttons for suspenders, a detail that pays homage to traditional tailoring. The front pleats add volume without weighing down the silhouette, while the leg falls wide and linear to the hem, maintaining a balanced and relaxed proportion.

In the charcoal variant, the fabric reveals a very deep, almost black, anthracite base, crossed by a discreet check pattern in shades of burgundy and plum. The contrast is subtle and visible mainly up close, giving the trousers a sober and refined character without sacrificing the richness of the weave.

The character of the fabric

The 100% wool used for this model has a warm, compact, and naturally substantial hand. The surface retains a slightly textured appearance that enhances the check pattern and the depth of the color.

The plaid pattern is built with fine, regular lines that emerge discreetly against the dark background. From a distance, the trousers appear almost solid-colored; observing them more closely, however, the design gains more definition and adds visual depth to the fabric.
