John Fustian Trousers 

The iconic John model interprets British sartorial tradition through a classic and recognizable construction, characterized by a high waist, volume provided by pleats, and a leg with a wide, clean drape. Trousers built in the De Paz style, in which proportions, fabric, and sartorial details define the character of the garment.

In this version, the John is crafted from 100% cotton fustian, a compact and warm fabric with a slightly soft, velvety surface. In the Purple variant, the depth of the shade is further enhanced by the unique surface of the fustian, which absorbs light to provide a rich and textural color.

The construction retains all the model's distinctive features: high waist with double pleats, spacious side pockets, and buttons attached to the waistband for use with suspenders. The line remains comfortable at the top and falls naturally along the leg, recalling the proportions of traditional British sartorial trousers.

COTTON FUSTIAN

Fustian is a 100% cotton fabric with a compact structure, traditionally appreciated for its durability and its distinctively warm and soft hand.

The surface undergoes a process that slightly raises the fabric fibers, creating that characteristic velvety feel that distinguishes fustian from a standard cotton canvas. The result is a substantial yet comfortable material, especially suitable for the colder seasons and capable of gaining further character with wear.

Compared to wool, fustian offers a different hand: more compact, dry, and uniform, while maintaining that textural presence that pairs particularly well with the traditional construction of the John model.

The trousers are made of 100% cotton and tailored in Italy, combining the sartorial construction of the model with the practicality and character of fustian.
