In this version, the John is crafted in Cotton Drill, a compact and durable cotton fabric recognizable by the characteristic diagonal structure of its weave. In the White variant, the fabric expresses a full, uniform tone, enhanced by the crisp, textured surface of the drill.

The construction retains all the signature elements of the model: high waist with double pleats, spacious side pockets, and buttons attached to the waistband for the use of suspenders. The fit remains comfortable in the upper section and falls naturally along the leg, creating a balance between the John's sartorial construction and the more practical character of cotton.

Cotton Drill is a compact cotton fabric made with a diagonal weave that gives it durability, solidity, and a slightly textured surface.

Compared to lighter cotton canvas, drill has more body and presence, while maintaining the comfort and breathability typical of the natural fiber. The diagonal weave also contributes to making the fabric resistant to wear and suitable for trousers designed to be worn frequently.

Its crisp and regular character pairs particularly well with the construction of the John model, as it supports the high waist, pleats, and wide leg without stiffening the garment.

The trousers are made in Italy, combining the structure of Cotton Drill with the De Paz sartorial construction.
