The crown is composed of eight pieces that create the soft, slightly voluminous shape typical of this model. The front visor maintains a compact and well-defined profile, while the radial seams highlight the cap's construction and naturally follow its shape.

In the green version, the base of the wool is traversed by the characteristic small chromatic irregularities of Donegal Tweed, which cause different spots and shades to emerge on the surface. The result is a rich color that is never perfectly uniform, changing slightly depending on the light.

The character of Donegal Tweed

Donegal Tweed is recognized above all for its lively, irregular surface. Small tufts of colored fibers, known as neps, are distributed throughout the yarn and appear on the fabric in the form of tiny chromatic dots.

It is precisely this feature that gives the surface depth and texture: viewed from a distance, the color appears solid, while up close it reveals a multitude of different accents.
